E-MAIL ADDRESS SOMETIMES REQUIRED
Your e-mail address is required in the following cases:
- When entering an ad in the HOT BOOTS Personals.
- When entering a listing in Boot Swap.
- If you are asking others to contact you in a message, your e-mail address
is required unless you provide some other means of contact. It is not fair
to other users to make them post what are essentially personal replies to
the bulletin board and reveal their contact information, when you are the
one requesting contact.
- If you want your portrait photo to show up when you're using the Chat
Room or in the upper left corner of your message on one of the message
boards, you must enter your e-mail address to make your photo appear.
YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS WILL BE OBSCURED
If you enter your e-mail address in the above cases, it will not show up in your
ad, listing or message or in the chat room. Other users may reply to you using
the Hot Boots mail server. Visit this page for further information on this process.

IF YOU WANT TO
The obscuring process only works on the "E-Mail" field. You cannot turn the
obscuring in the e-mail field off; however if you enter your e-mail address a
second time, in the body of your ad, listing or post, it will actually be shown there.
