: Hey guys,

: I am mailing a box of boots (Wescos namely) and leathers ahead of me to SF for Dore. I brought the mostly loaded box to our shipping place to get a rough idea of the cost and time options. (Shipping will be $85-$105.)

: My question is - they offered insurance. It would cost $100. Would it be worth it? Does anyone know what they require you to do if you need to collect? I donít have receipts for the items but could take a picture. I wasnít planning to get it because of the cost and betting the fine print would make it hard to collect, but...?

: -Chris

I've not shipped boots, but on other occasions shipping by bus has proven to work well. The items were handled very well and were insured for a very reasonable rate. Recently, I was told that they handled a bicycle quite well with no problems. They did offer an express service they called "Next Bus Out." Give them a call.
