The issue with both options is measurements. The best way to get a pair of Wescos is to have them made to measure. Measurements are best done by someone who knows what they are doing.
In many ways Wesco does not want to compete with dealers so direct from the factory is typically a little more expensive. If you can find a dealer near you who will do measurements that is your best bet. If they screw up its their fault.
If you fancy a trip to Oregon (Portland) you can go direct to the shop in Scappoose. Wesco will get the measurements right and you get to see the place they are made.
Otherwise, Big Black Boots is a Wesco dealer and good friend of Hot Boots. They may be able to help you with measurements. https://bigblackboots.com
I did have my boots made direct by Wesco but thatís because itís my hometown and I wanted to visit the factory.
Good luck, in boots, Fred
: I need a pair of steel toe boots for work and don't want to have my bootmaker build me a pair for a ton of cash for a pair I won't be wearing daily. I have a high instep, so I thought I would get a pair of Jobmaster or Highliners.
: Is there any benefit from ordering from a dealer rather than direct from Wesco? Are they cheaper from a dealer?
