I no longer have any campus boots, but I used to wear them a lot back in the '70's and early 80's. They were very popular in Chicago (where I lived at the time) and were worn by lots of guys and girls. I don't think I've seen as many people wearing boots as I did back in the mid-70's.
I had Frys campus boots in several colors - tan, brown and a beautiful orangy-red - with 16 or 17 inch leg hugging shafts, nice square toes and tall block heels.
Like lots of my boots, I sold them when my feet grew from size 10-1/2 to 12 and I could no longer wear them.
The quality back in the 70's was really great, but the new styles from Fry just don't compare, so I have never bought another pair.
