I know exactly what you're going through... times two!

Back in the mid-90's my feet grew from a size 10-1/2 to a size 12. I put my smaller boots on consignment and finally sold all of them except one. They didn't think they were worth anything on the market, so I gave that pair away.

With the money from the boots that I sold I bought new ones, including my first pair of Wescos. At last count I had 70 pair of boots in my collection. (See link below if you want a look.)

Now in 2017 my feet are doing it again. Over the past year I've noticed that my size 12 boots are getting tighter and tighter, and a few pair I can no longer wear. As my feet continue to slowly grow, I've been making a list of the ones I need to get rid of. Once my list is complete I'll present it on the Boots For Sale board and the best offer for each pair gets them.

My three latest pairs of boots, two pair of Sendras in June and a pair of Embossy harness boots (sans harness) last month, are size 13.

So, RI, you're not the only one suffering with the problem of parting with your boots. We can weep together.

Larry
