: Please keep all of us in the greater Houston area and large areas of south east Texas in your thoughts and prayers.
: So many have lost their homes and everything, in the thousands!
: This is called a 1000 (one thousand) year flood - so although my home is dry at least for now, as water drains toward the Gulf of Mexico, right thru down town Houston for the most part the rivers, bayou's and creeks all are over their banks and heading south.
: We don't know what's next but it's tall rubber boot/wader weather, but for the worst of situations.
: Be safe all, and any support for our fellow Texans impacted is much appreciated,
: Bruce
Bruce, I was thinking about you while watching the coverage of the storm. I also have family around Houston, and Austin. Very concerned about you and all of them.
You never know what is going to happen with these storms.
I wish I could be in TX to help those in need, but I am a LEO, and cannot get off work.
Was also thinking of all the property damage and yes, wet boots. I saw a guy on the news last night with his cowboy hat on, and boots, wading in waist high water. Does not surprise me at all.
You are, as well as all of those affected, in my thoughts and prapers. Mick
