: I've been coming across more and more pictures on the Internet of young Asian men, I believe mostly in China, wearing tall black riding boots in public. They post photos of themselves not just posing in the privacy of their homes, but walking down the street, shopping at the mall, visiting "tourist" spots, working at the office....pretty much anywhere. I've been wondering, what's up with that? Might tall boots for men actually be fashionable in Asia?
: Recently a neighbor, a young man from China, was walking by with a lady friend and called out, "I like your boots!" I was wearing tall, black motor patrol boots, as I often do. I took the opportunity to ask about men's boots in China, and sure enough he told me that tall riding boots have become a fashion for men not only in China, but in other Asian countries! He mentioned that Asians tend to take their fashion cues from Europe, where tall boots also have become fashionable for men.
: Could anyone here confirm or otherwise comment on this news? Do we have any Board visitors from Asia, or Europe, who could add their thoughts? If true, I find this development very exciting and encouraging for bootmen worldwide.
: Here are three examples of young Chinese men wearing tall boots in public.
They sure are HOT! The guy in the center with the skin tight white breeches is also sporting tight black gloves that really turn me on.
