: I am not sure if any of you fine boot lovers are like me, but I own ONLY boots and wear buckeroo boots with ranch muck on them literally everywhere I go, no matter the function and never bother to clean my boots. Anyone else like me in this way?
You remind me of a favorite boot sighting from years ago, Montana. One day around dinner time I was walking by a nearby movie theater, and just as I walked by a young guy got in line wearing a cowboy hat, western shirt, and jeans tucked into some kind of tall buckaroo boots -- and with spurs no less! His whole outfit looked worn and lightly dusty, like he was a working cowboy. There are quite a few ranches nearby, so that made sense. I imagined he had just raced over to the theater from the ranch and didn't have time to change, or maybe didn't want to change. It looked like he was joining some friends, all of whom appeared to be his age but dressed in regular street clothes. I was so tempted to go to the movies that day, regardless what was playing.
As for me, I'm wearing boots most everywhere I go. About the only time I'm not in boots is when function or fashion dictates otherwise, such as sneakers for exercise or dress shoes for a professional event.
