Gosh,

I am so bad at remembering details - I know some guys can immediately say "that's a Mount Trumball" or whatever - not me I'm afraid...

At the time I was a 12-D (now I'm a 13). They are 19" tall, and I did 12 rows of stitching. The heels are 2 1/4" (I think 2 1/2" is my favorite heel height now). The toe is a rounded point (my prior 2 pairs had the extreme pointed toe which I grew to dislike over time), the foot, trim around the throat and the mule ears (now removed) are shark, with the uppers simply calf. I love the "cloverleaf" instep detail so I did that. The toe cap is smooth ostrich - not sure why I chose that, when full-quill would have made more of a statement. I really wanted these to be subtle. Attached is a photo I just took to hopefully show them in a little higher resolution.

By the time you customize a pair of Bonds, it's really the stitching pattern on the uppers that differentiates one model from another. Everything else is negotiable.

Best of luck and hope you get some Bonds - they really are special!

Spurmarks (Jim)
